Saitama Yakuhin CO.,LTD.(SYC) was initially set and started its operation at Omiya, which stands for “the big shrine”, in Saitama Prefecture since May 1966 by trading chemicals, metallic plating materials and various chemical testing implements.
As the business developed, SYC was incorporated in December 1974 and accumulated good credit among the prime customers and stakeholders in rapidly growing Tokyo Metropolitan Area.
In 1983, SYC relocated to the Southern Saitama Wholesaler’s Estate facing to the vigorous “Route 16” aiming for further contribution to the society and growth of the Company. In fact, SYC and the Chairman Mr. Akiyoshi Matsushima played a key role for the development and prosperity of the Estate up to now.
As SYC had been in environment oriented business, the company has been kept running under ISO-14001 Certificate since 2005 so the company may step forward to the global market.

History
1966 May
| Started selling industrial chemicals, plating material, a variety of test equipment in Saitama.

| New-moved a office into Yoshino-cho, Omiya-shi.

1974 December
| The organization changed into a company (capital 3 million yen).

1975 June
| Increased the capital (new capital 6 million yen).

1983 July
| Head office new-moved in Saitama south wholesale housing complex.
